Debt advice

How we help

We offer practical, compassionate support to help you deal with debt and move forward.

Understand your debts

We help you make sense of what you owe, who to, and how it affects you.

Prioritise what matters

Not all debts are the same. We explain which ones need urgent attention—like rent, energy bills or council tax—and which can wait.

Make a realistic budget

We work with you to create a budget that covers the essentials and helps you reduce debt without leaving you short.

Speak to creditors

If needed, we can contact creditors on your behalf to explain your situation and request more manageable payments.

Explore your options

We’ll talk through all the routes available to you—from payment plans to formal solutions like Debt Relief Orders (DROs).

Check your benefit entitlement

We’ll make sure you’re claiming all the benefits you’re entitled to, and help you apply if you’re not.

What to expect

Taking the first step is hard

We know taking the first step is hard. Here’s what happens when you reach out.

01 Book a free appointment

You can book an appointment online or by phone—whichever feels easiest. We’ll find a time that suits you, and you’re welcome to bring someone along for support if you’d like.

02 Speak to a trained advisor

In your session, a friendly advisor will listen without judgement. We’ll talk about your situation, help you understand your options, and answer any questions you have. Everything is confidential, and we’ll never pressure you to make decisions on the spot.

03 Get a personalised plan

Once we understand your circumstances, we’ll create a plan that works for you. That might include budgeting support, benefit checks, or help contacting creditors. Every plan is built around your needs—realistic, manageable, and focused on moving forward.

04 Ongoing support if needed

Whether you want to take the lead or prefer us to guide you through each step—we’ll support you either way. Our team can help with letters, phone calls, or applications if it feels overwhelming, and we’ll always go at your pace. You’re not alone in this.
